Kathleen Goerner

Coach

She is a science educator and engineering enthusiast in Humble ISD for over 20 years. Over the course of her career, she was a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and science curriculum coordinator. She currently teaches engineering and robotics at Kingwood High School, and is the coach of FRC Team 9512 Horsepower.

Eric Alland

Mechanical/FRC Mentor

He is a retired teacher and mechanical engineer who moved to the Kingwood area in 2022. He is passionate about FIRST Robotics and working with students, and was a FRC coach for 10 years before retirement. He is currently the lead mentor for FRC Team 9512 Horsepower.

Ravi Nanayakkara

Electrical mentor

Ravi is a PhD electrical engineer with 27 years of engineering experience. He currently works at JSC/NASA on the Artemis missions. This is his first year mentoring and he is passionate about passing one his knowledge to young engineers. Ravi is parent to two KHS students in the robotics program.
